Personal Life
Not a lot of people know this, but Shiwam Dube actually comes from Mumbai because he was born there back on 26 June 1993. His backstory is kinda interesting as well, like, when he was just a teenager, he had to quit cricket for fiver years or so because, first of all he was overweight and then the money was kinda tight at home too. Though, despite all odds, he still continued his love for cricket, and look at him now. He is one of the most valuable players for Indian cricket.
Talking about his personal life for a bit, you see, he actually went on to marry a model-actor Anjum Khan back in 2021. He has two kids as well, a son Ayaan and a cute daughter Mehwish.
Professional Life and IPL Career
The thing that caught selectors’ eyes was his performance in Ranji‑Trophy back in 2018, when he went on to hit 5 big sixes in just one over. So, looking at his performance that year in Ranji‑Trophy, the RCB team went for him with a price tag of 5 crore rupees in IPL 2019. Though, they released him in the next season, and then he became part of Rajasthan Royals in 2021 and Chennai Super Kings in 2022. Ever since, he is part of CSK, and even in IPL 2025.
Ever since he became part of the CSK team, he has done really great in the middle batting order, so much so that he even scored a 95 not out score when the team needed him the most. The last two IPL seasons went kinda great for him, but so far in IPL 2025, his performance looks decent, though only half of the tournament is done, so more matches are yet to come.
