Alzarri Joseph (born 20 November 1996) is an Antiguan cricketer who represents the West Indies in Tests and ODIs. Domestic cricket is played for him by Leeward Islands and St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. He was named Antigua and Barbuda Sportsman of the Year for helping the West Indies win the Under 19 Cricket World Cup in 2016. He made his debut for the West Indies at the 2024 T20 World Cup and joined the squad known for his fiery spells and precise yorkers but was handed a two game reprimand in November 2024.
2. Shai Hope (Batsman)
Barbadian cricketer and captain of West Indies ODI team Shai Diego Hope (born 10 November 1993). Shai was always known for his calm attitude and elegant batting and he is one of the top ODI players of today. He is a multiple award winner, CWI Cricketer of the Year in 2018, ICC ODI Team honours in 2020 and 2022. Shai is the backbone of West Indies’ batting and he performs under pressure, putting on excellent performances, mostly with his technique and skill.
3. Rovman Powell (All-rounder)
Shai Edwin Harold Dwane Hope (born 10 November 1993), is a Barbadian cricketer and is ODI captain of the West Indies. He scored an unbeaten 109 off 83 balls in December 2023 against England, helping his country win what was a remarkable victory, and he became the first player to take 5000 ODI runs in 114 innings, equaling West Indies Sir Vivian Richards’ record. He made it to the 2024 West Indies T20 World Cup squad, and is known for his batting and wicket keeping. He is a terrific all rounder and his powerful sixes are a treat to watch and his stunning fielding pleases fans.
4. Evin Lewis (Batsman)
Evin Earl Lewis (born 27 December 1991) is the Trinidadian born West Indies opener and cricketer. He was known for his explosive batting — he scored two T20 International centuries, putting him in the company of cricket legends Brendon McCullum and Chris Gayle. The 176 not out retired hurt and 125 not out (the highest by a West Indian in T20s) were Lewis’ records. 6. Kyle Mayers (All-rounder)
West Indies all format cricketer Kyle Mayers was born on 8 September 1992. In 2012 he was part of the 2012 ICC Under 19 Cricket World Cup squad. Mayers scored 210 not out on his Test debut last February in 2021. Against New Zealand he hit his first ODI century (120) and his second (105) against the Netherlands in June 2022. He made his IPL debut for Lucknow Super Giants on 1 April 2023, making a 38 ball 73.

Trinidad and Tobago born Akeal Jerome Hosein (born 25 April 1993) is a cricketer. Trinbago Knight Riders of the CPL, Trinidad and Tobago and Quetta Gladiators in the 2023 PSL. Hosein became the PSL’s sixth bowler to claim a hat trick in a match as he dismissed Peshawar Zalmi’s Aamer Jamal, Mehran Mumtaz and Luke Wood on 8 March 2024. The West Indies squad for the T20 World Cup was named in May 2024 where he was selected. This boy has smart bowling and he’s very adaptable and it brings him success.
8. Sherfane Rutherford (All-rounder)
Guyanese cricketer Sherfane Rutherford was born on 15 August 1998. He made his debut in T20 Internationals against Bangladesh in December 2018 and in ODIs against England in December 2019. He arrived at the West Indies squad for the ICC T20 World Cup in May 2024. He hit his first ODI century, making 113 runs with seven fours and eight sixes as his team beat Bangladesh on 8 December 2024. He became a dependable match winner by 2025.
9. Romario Shephard (All-rounder)
Guyanese cricketer Romario Shepherd, who was born on November 26, 1994, represents Guyana and plays for the West Indies. He made his international debut in November 2019, appearing in an ODI against Afghanistan, followed by a T20I debut against Ireland in January 2020. In the first ODI against England, in November 2023 he played in a series against England, scored 48 runs, and picked 2 wickets.
